IVANA COOK
Just like the tides, the ocean is consistent, but ever so inconsistent. And for that reason, I have fallen for its unpredictable nature. Each wave, new beach, or dive is uniquely its own. I allow my photography to be subject to its conditions, which often you are rarely able to predict. From five am wake up calls to dawn patrol, to the late evening dives, the water is always pulling me in. And most of the time I have my camera in hand.
I have a large passion and love for the ocean, those who inhabit it, and the world of surfing. Ever since I was little I was surrounded by it, and growing up surfing gave me an appreciation to the sea. Through school I obtained and AA in Math and Sciences, with an emphasis in Marine Biology, and learned to value our oceans even more. I studied for three years however, I now am taking my knowledge and passion to capture behind the lens all things salt and light.
